Loop pedal/Electric Cellist
Another area of expertise for Claire is as an electric cellist, in particular using a loop pedal. The loop pedal allows a musician to gradually add layers to a piece live in performance. Adding and subtracting the layers is then used to shape the piece while playing other melodies live over the top.
She has performed as a loop pedal cellist for the Bury St Edmunds and Aldeburgh Food Festivals and for private engagements.
For something a little different at your event why not consider loop pedal cello?
Claire plays her own interpretations of popular music - current repertoire includes: Chasing Cars, Viva la Vida, Stand By Me, The Shape of You and Get Lucky.

In addition to solo work, Claire has performed on electric cello with The ELO Experience.
Session Musician/String Arranger
Claire enjoys collaborating and recording with other musicians.
Claire has the facilities to record remotely and has enjoyed collaborations with many musicians in this way.
She has recorded recently for Elizabeth and Jameson on their debut album 'Northern Shores and Stories', Lucy Ward for 'Sisters of Elva Hill' and 'Pretty Warnings', arranged and recorded strings for Johnno Casson aka Snippet ('Gentle Days' and 'Some Kid') and Alex Highton (all string arrangements on album 'Welcome to Happiness').
